this gives the officer’s confidence to carry out their duties especially in
vulnerable areas.

Patrolling ,Guarding key points, Searching areas for intruders, Mobiles patrols Highly visible deterrent at public events/industrial disputes.
This is where is it all begins for our dogs, we have own breeding programme. we select only the best puppies to go on and be trained for operational duties throughout the UK.
All of our German shepherds are bred from working bloodlines, with a 95% pass rate they are then ready to go on to full operational duties within GSD security dogs Ltd. Information received tells us that the puppies that have gone on to police forces and HM Prison service have passed out and gone on to be operational Street dogs with a 100% track record.
After the dogs go through their basic obedience we introduce retrieving of articles such as dumbbells, briefcases, firearms and knives, and any article we think that could be stolen or dropped by fleeing criminals that has their scent on it.
The puppies will start training for the tracking of criminals at around 10 to 12 weeks of age, this is done an average of two to three times on a weekly basis, they are started in the style of schutzhund tracking and then later to criminal work, we have found that this method gives the dog’s a deeper nose whilst tracking. This means that when we go into corners the dogs do not overshoot as far as is normally expected.
At the back of GSD security office we have a full agility course where the dogs tare trained as shown on the left hand picture kimba takes it all in her stride, and the right-hand picture shows kimba’s son paxso going over the six foot scale, this picture was taken on the first day of training and does show him struggling slightly, video footage will be available in the near future to show GSD security dogs flying around the agility course.
Paxso is showing why we breed our own working bloodlines. It is important to enjoy obedience and tracking, it is also important to build a strong defence against any would be intruder on our clients property.
This also shows why police forces around the UK come back to us time and time again for puppies to go on to be operational Street police dogs.
Hopefully the pictures and editorial show you why we think that GSD security dogs Ltd have some of the best land sharks in the business and if you require a demonstration this can be arranged.
